Tim Coleman, Character TD at ILM currently working on Poseidon, has an instructional DVD dealing with mechanical rigging in Maya. Aaron Holly, a Character TD at Disney and who also worked at ILM, has a couple of DVDs dealing with rigging and skinning cartoony characters.
